Three types of meetups, three ways to join
Private events with a refundable €4 deposit — or with no deposit at all, if that is what the organizer picks. Public free. And paid events run by venues.
- Private. The €4 deposit comes back in full if your attendance is confirmed. The organizer pays it too and is settled by exactly the same rules, or they can open the event with no deposit. A recurring series is available for private events only.
- Public free. Open to everyone, no deposit. Creating one costs the organizer a one-off €4 so the map does not fill up with spam.
- Public paid. Tickets sold by a venue. Creating the event costs the venue one ticket price.
- Quorum. On private and paid events the organizer sets a minimum head count (at least 3). If it is not reached 24 hours before the start, the event cancels itself. We refund deposits on private events in full; on paid events the venue handles ticket refunds directly.
