Selling tickets is gated on one thing only: a connected Stripe account with charges enabled. Verification is not part of it. Ticket money goes straight to your Stripe balance — offline takes no commission at all, and the only amount withheld is Stripe's processing fee of at least 1.5% + €0.25, so a €10 ticket pays out at most €9.60.
Payouts are set to weekly with a Monday anchor and cannot be changed from the Express dashboard. Accounts are opened in Slovakia, so a venue registered elsewhere cannot be paid out yet. Ticket refunds are yours to issue from your own Stripe account. If a customer files a chargeback, the disputed amount is automatically pulled back from your connected account; if you win the dispute, it goes back to you.
How does it work?
- Click Connect Stripe. The Stripe Express onboarding opens.
- Stripe walks you through KYC (identity, bank account, signature).
- When done, you return here and press Refresh status.
- Once Stripe enables charges, you can create paid events here in the console or in the app.
- To change your bank details or documents later, use the same button — it reopens your Stripe onboarding. Your balance and payouts live in Stripe itself.
